Day Camp Sleepovers
Your camper will have a unique opportunity to participate in our sleepover program*.
Prior to your camper’s arrival, our Day Camp Director will email you with sign-up options. Sleepovers will occur Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a 15 camper maximum each night. Your camper can only choose one night. They will get to enjoy the magic of Evening Program, Dinner with all of camp, and a chance to try sleep away.
Sleepovers will take place in our centrally located Lodge with access to bathrooms and snacks. Camp will provide sleeping pads and 2-3 staff to support through the night. We ask that you pack your camper with everything they need to be successful (stuffies, pillows, love notes, etc.)!
*Please make sure your camper is ready to try an overnight.

Activities
We are updating how our day campers interact with their activities!
We are excited to share that this summer day campers will have complete increased choice in how they choose to experience camp. Our amazing team of Day Camp Counselors will create special age appropriate programming for our day campers*. Every ‘block’ will have 2-3 choices. Day Campers will be able to choose each day which activities they would like to participate in. Don’t want to play Basketball on Monday - but would like to join the Tuesday Soccer option? No problem! Our team will work your camper so each day can be magical! Please see below for our special Traditional program offerings!
*If your camper is a rising 2nd grader and/or would like to opt into residential or traditional block options, we will work with them to find their ideal schedule. They will be expected to stay in the same block classes they select for the full week as our residential campers do.

Banquet programming is a special Hochelaga tradition. This program is camper led. Campers choose a theme, the menu, and work together to create decorations and transform our main dining hall into an all camp party.
Each banquet program takes place over multiple camp sessions. If your camper works on banquet prior to the actual banquet event they will be invited back free of charge for the event. Banquets take place on Wednesday evenings (all dates listed).
*Lower Mid Banquet will also be available to Day Campers who have completed the 2nd grade or higher if they would like to participate in its creation.

Musical 1 : 7/7 - 7/17
Musical 2 : 7/28 - 8/14
This summer, musical 1 will take place during Sessions 3 and 4. Musical 2 takes place during Sessions 6, 7 and 8.
Performances will take place on the second date listed in each musical’s timeline. Musicals take place Thursdays during block 4 so that all of camp can enjoy.
The initial weeks include auditions and rehearsals. These take place during a normal block period. Campers may be expected to practice during their line or leisure times as the performance day approaches.
Any campers coming for consecutive weeks that are interested in participating in the musicals are encouraged to audition! If your camper is attending camp for only one week, there’s still opportunity for them to be involved in bringing our musicals to life through our Costume and Set Design classes.
-
Log Programming : 7/14 - 8/15
Log is our traditional camper created “yearbook.” Log is a Senior Line camper activity. Campers will work on this project for five weeks. Your camper does not need to attend for five weeks in order to participate. Log will be shared at Senior Banquet by present campers.
