Welcome to Alana Matteson

She has served as Assistant Camp Director at Camp Cherith of Western NY and Camp Hantesa in Boone, Iowa and is so exited about joining the YWCA Vermont Team. A big shout out to Alana and welcome to Vermont!
Celebrating Community Strength and Support!
It is fair to say 2020 has been nothing like we expected. Hochelaga’s 101st year has been marked by some of the most challenging decisions our team has ever had to make. But it has also been marked by the incredible strength and resilience of our community. YWCA Vermont’s 2020 Annual Report offers a detailed update about how the organization navigated this unprecedented year, and the plans in place moving forward.
Thank you! With your generous support we have closed the 2020 deficit! We are thrilled to share that YWCA Vermont Camp Hochelaga’s Sustain CAMPaign to close the 2020 deficit and launch 2021 strong and stable has been overwhelmingly successful. Our alumni and camp families have gone above and beyond to demonstrate their commitment to Camp Hochelaga and to keep the spirit of ‘Laga bright.
Camp Hochelaga Alumni Connection
The mission of Camp Hochelaga Alumni Connection (CHAC) is to create a mutually beneficial relationship, where Hochelaga’s community can connect with each other, with camp, and where staff can share updates and opportunities to offer support. This Facebook group is a place to reconnect, laugh over shared memories and reminisce about long, sunny days on the shores of Lake Champlain.
