The flame on each Thursday of our camp calendar represents our traditional final campfire and “Candlelight” ceremony. The entire camp community comes together to reflect on their time at camp and celebrate the incredible time that we had together.

Camp Hochelaga continues with our traditional musical programming! Former camp musicals include Tangled, Teen Beach Movie, Annie, various musical show cases, and more!

If your camper is looking to sing or act in a Hochelaga musical, we encourage you sign your camper up for both sessions. Auditions and Casting occur in the first week of Musical programming, and campers rehearse as well as perform in the second week.

One week options: We also support separate set design programming that do not require the full two weeks. Or, your camper can elect to participate in one week of the musical as tech or set support.

Musical 1: July 8th - July 19th

Musical 2: August 5th - August 16th

Banquets are some of the most memorable events of the camp season! Campers, alongside the support of our staff, come up with a banquet theme, dinner menu, as well as design themed murals/costumes and decorations to transform our dining hall into a camp wide dinner party!

This year we are introducing a third banquet to our season to include more voices, fun, and creativity!

Each age group will have the opportunity to work on a banquet. If your camper is interested it is not necessary for campers to be present for every banquet prep session, however, it is important to note that a camper participating in the first week of banquet prep might miss out the final details of their work! Campers may join the banquet process in the final prep week!

Banquets will be held during Wednesday dinner. All of camp will get dressed up and head into the Lodge to celebrate everyone’s hard work!* Additional days following banquet will be spent cleaning their work stations!

*Only Senior campers that participated in Senior Banquet development may return to the Senior Banquet event.

Day Camp & Lower Middler Banquet: June 24th - July 5th.

Upper Middler Banquet: July 15th - July 26th.

Senior Banquet: July 22nd - August 16th.

Every summer Camp Hochelaga has run, an incredible team of Senior Campers have created our camper and staff yearbook.

Log is a traditional program that runs for five sessions. Campers that attend the first week of this program will contribute to the theme and early formation. Campers that attend in the middle of Log creation will design and create the pages. The final group of campers that work on Log will reveal the Log at the Senior Banquet.
